As A Licensed Veterinary Technician for more then a decade and a pet owner, I know the pain that comes from the loss of a furry family member. I have over the years watched the prices of cremation, urns, and caskets go through the roof. I made my decision to start Melissa Marie's when I couldn't find a dog shaped headstone for my sister in-law. I had searched the internet and called every number in the phone book but could not find a dog shaped headstone. I found lots of stepping stones but I wanted an upright stone that she could see from a far. In my search I also found that most items were all the same and decided that we would be different. Although losing a beloved pet is very difficult, I want pet owners to be happy with the option for their pet's when laid to rest. A good start to that I feel,  is by personalizing our products to meet the individuality of each pet.

  It has taken me almost 3 years from that day to establish Melissa Marie's. I have had to learn all that I could about products and the processes that I would need in order to achieve my goal. I also wanted our products to be personalized, this took even more time and some creativity. I feel that I now have finally achieved my goal of offering quality personalized products at affordable prices. I hope that you will agree.

  Melissa Marie's is family owned and operated. I, Melissa Marie, planned and created our cat and dog headstones, caskets, and bedding. I also clean and paint each and every one of our ceramic urns. My husband, Robert, is responsible for implementing my ideas. He does all of the concrete work and all of our woodworking. Our daughters, Ashley and Emily, help us with ordering, packaging and anything else we need a hand with. We hope to continue to add unique and personalized items as we grow.
